A few short months ago I shared with you all our master bedroom makeover. It’s amazing what a little paint and changing out the window treatments can do to a room. The other day Matt was even telling me how much he was enjoying the room. One of the things remaining on my list of to-dos for this room was to replace the bedding. Our bedding was still very functional but it did not match the new room color and competed way too much with the window treatments we went with. I really wanted something to compliment the modern look of the curtains without competing with them.
I spent a fair amount of time searching online for a simple yet modern bedding set that wasn’t going to break the bank. With a baby on the way the last thing I need to be spending too much money on is bedding! Most of the time when I found something it was blue or green, which was nice but didn’t look right with our room. Finally after what felt like an eternity I found the City Scene Amelia set from BeddingStyle.com
The simple orange pattern is perfect for the room! The best part is that the comforter and shames are reversible! For now I am wanting to keep things light and airy so I am keeping the herringbone side up.But I know this winter when it’s cold and it feels like I’ll never seen a colorful flower again, I will flip the comforter over to enjoy the vibrant orange pattern!
I feel like the whole thing is win win!
Now that the bedding is in place I cannot wait to get started on our next step, artwork for the walls around the bed! The headboard is HUGE and tall but since we have cathedral ceilings in our master I have a lot of space to fill up! I am getting excited just thinking about it and even more excited to show off the whole room!

Thank you! It’s slowly coming together and the bedding is one of the final pieces!
