Josslyn’s first birthday came and went in what seemed like a blink of the eye! Everything went off without a hitch. Josslyn was lucky enough to be joined by her Aunts, (future) Uncles, Cousins, and all six Grandparents! A few months ago I started the search for the perfect birthday invitation. I was looking for something to help reflect the rainbow theme without smacking you over the head with rainbows! So so much easier said than done. I must have spent at least 10 hours searching. So if you wonder why that post was late getting up, now you know, I was searching for invites! After wasting way to much time looking at cheesy invitations I headed over to my favorite paperie site, Minted! They never disappoint, EVER! I was hesitant to head over sooner because I knew I would be faced with a bigger decision, which one to pick? Seriously, so many stunningly beautiful options! There were the adorable watercolor birthday balloons. The whimisical garland celebration. I mean seriously check out the detail on this first festive invitation! They even have great options for parents who stayed on the ball taking great pics of their little one each month along the way for all 12 months. I pretty much failed at this around month 3 hehe.Sticking with the rainbow theme I made sure my final selection contained color, whimsy, and a glimpse of Josslyn! She was after all the birthday girl! The confection invitation won out! I knew her invitations would be going out to family who probably would not be able to attend but might want a peek out how much our little girl has grown over the past year, so I chose a backer option that allowed for photos. I can’t tell you how much I love this option!Another fun touch I added was by selecting an envelope other than white with a coordinating slip in liner!
I loved Josslyn’s invitations so much I am giving away a $ 50.00 minted credit to one lucky winner! Just use the rafflecopter widget below to enter to win!

I would use it to buy something pretty to hang on the wall such as the dahlia art print or the peonies print. So many beautiful choices!
