If you follow us on Instgram I’m sure you haven’t missed the latest addition to our family. Baby Josslyn decided to make her appearance into the world a whopping 6 weeks early! So to say that we were surprised and slightly unprepared for her arrival would be an understatement! It took us a few weeks to get into the swing of things, but now almost 5 weeks later we are finally catching on.
One of the things I quickly learned was that it was super important to be organized. It can make the difference in getting out the door in 5 minutes or 20 minutes. Yes, this has happened on quite a few occasions!
Since our home is two stories it’s not always the fastest to run upstairs to change the baby. Plus since I had an cesarian, stairs and I were not friends for a few weeks, most especially when I was carrying the baby. When we brought Josslyn home from the hospital Matt set up the pack-n-play in the family room, so I wouldn’t have to climb the stairs to change her or lay her down for naps. It took about 2 diaper changes to realize we needed to have her changing products accessible! Enter the Rubbermaid Bento Organizers available at Target. I had been spying these for quite some time now.
The bright colors caught my eye as well as the fact that you can move out the the inserts with an easy flick to accommodate for other items …
Like more diapers and colorful burp clothes (thanks to Chelsea of Two Twenty One)
Now that I have pretty much recovered from my surgery and stairs are no longer an issue, I decided to give my Rubbermaid Bento a new life!
Like I mentioned before being organized is a must and I do NOT have the time nor the patience to track down a roll of tape or a pair or scissors to wrap a Christmas present. My solution was to create a wrapping station using the Rubbermaid Bento Organizer.
All my wrapping accessories are in one convenient place, and I couldn’t be happier. Now if I can just get my better half to remember to put the things back when he is done with them everything will be perfect!
I know this time of year the thought of spending money on something extra is a bit daunting but Target and Rubbermaid have got your back and have a coupon just for you! Click HERE to print your own!
What would you use the Rubbermaid Bento Organizer for?

This is SUCH a great idea! I wish I would have had something like this when my kids were babies! Congrats on the new baby! I completely understand how having a preemie can surprise you! My oldest was born at 33 weeks and we had NOTHING for him! he’ll be 15 in February 🙂

Oh no! That reminds me! I’d better set up a little changing station downstairs too. I’m going to go see if Target in Canada has those bentos yet! Love them!

This is such a great idea! Is there any way you can tell me the name of this color of bento? I can’t for the life of me find this blue for sale online – everything is khaki or red.
Thanks so much!

I could not find the name of the color I used, but while I was at Target tonight I checked and they still have then in stock. I think this color was special made for Target stores. Also they were on a different isle than the other Bento’s! Hope that helps!
