Sweet sweet Kristel over at The Velvet Door recently commented on my Craft Room post. She has the cutest house and the greatest ideas on her blog! In her comment she mentioned she was passing down the Liebster Blog Award to me. After my immediate reaction of OH WOW! my second thought was What is the Liebster Blog Award? Of course I immediately googled this to find out what it was.
Liebster is a German word meaning Dearest or Beloved, it can also mean Favorite.
The idea behind the Liebster Blog Award is that it is given to upcoming bloggers
(with fewer than 200 followers) in order to create new connections and bring attention to wonderful growing blogs.
Now it is my turn to pass on the award, with a these few simple rules.

~ List your top five picks and let them know they have been given the award by
leaving a comment on their blog.

- Blue Star Antiques – This site is great. So much inspiration on every post! One of my favorites is one entitled ‘Bringing in the Clowns’ where she uses an old fire real and hose as a curtain rod. Being the wife of a firefighter I LOVE the idea!

Jacque! I was having a terrible day at work and I came home to your wonderful invite to accept a Leibster award from you and I couldn't be happier! Really! You completely made my day! I'm the new blog on the block and only have a handful of followers (they are the best!) and I can't believe all the sweet things people have to say about my projects.
